Kids Program

The ATT programs are an innovative children’s martial arts program that was specifically designed to challenge and develop the skills of preteen and teenage children. This program targets the characteristics of youth as well as teenagers, and utilizes those characteristics to help them develop physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. The best part about their development is they’re learning and developing through martial arts training. Your child will build dynamic martial arts capabilities, while gaining confidence and self-esteem. Martial Arts is a fantastic springboard for future success!

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (“BJJ”) is one of American Top Team’s core training programs. The premise of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is that a smaller, weaker person can defeat a stronger and larger opponent, through leverage and proper technique.  Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is primarily a ground-fighting art, where the practitioner’s train in a gi or “kimono”.

Muay Thai

Classes will involve the use of shadowboxing, footwork skills, pad work, heavy bag training, and various partner coordination drills. Traditionally, fighters all over the world seek Muay Thai to improve their effectiveness, and give themselves the edge in the ring. Here at ATT Deerfield, this class is known for its awesome fitness and conditioning, as well as martial techniques and strategy.  ATT Muay Thai is the perfect stand up striking class that provides the student with the tools they need for the ring although you may never plan to fight.

Boxing

Known as “The Sweet Science”, our boxing program will improve your offensive and defensive punching skills through a series of drills. No black eyes or broken noses here! Learn the proper way to incorporate the heavy bag, shadow box, and focus mitt training to progress in our smart approach to boxing.

Judo

Judo is a tremendous and dynamic combat sport that demands both physical prowess and great mental discipline. From a standing position, it involves techniques that allow you to lift and throw your opponents onto their backs. On the ground, it includes techniques that allow you to pin your opponents down to the ground, control them, and apply various chokeholds or joint locks until submission.

Wrestling

Submission grappling is similar to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, in that a lot of the same positions, submissions, and techniques are used and developed. The program combines elements from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Folkstyle Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, Judo and Sambo. One major difference is there is no kimono or gi used during the training. Students will wear rash guards with grappling shorts or board shorts designed not to tear during the training.

Cross Fight Fitness

Cross Fight Fitness describes its strength and conditioning program as a fusion of all the best training methods with the goal of improving fitness and quality of life. Movements such as sprinting, rowing, jumping rope, climbing rope, flipping tires, weightlifting, carrying heavy objects and, many body weight movements for a great variety of challenging workouts are combined. Equipment used includes war ropes, monkey bars, Thai pads, barbells, dumbbells, punching bags, pull-up bars, kettle bells, medicine balls and, boxes for various exercises.
